JUDY J. CHANG, ESQ., FOUNDING PARTNER

Judy J. Chang is a California and New York licensed attorney, specializing in the field of U.S. immigration and nationality law. She is also admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Ms. Chang is the Founder and Managing Member of Judy Chang Law Firm, LLC, a bi-costal immigration law firm with offices in New York, NY, Palo Alto, CA, and Englewood Cliffs, NJ.

Having grown up in Seoul, South Korea and Montreal, Canada, Ms. Chang received her B.A. Hon. (Scholar's Electives Program) from the University of Western Ontario and her law degree (LL.B.) from the University of Toronto Law School, where she was a co-director for a legal clinic and represented the rights and interests of immigrants and refugees from many different nations.

Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Chang taught international trade law at Tianjin and Suzhou Universities in China. Before founding Judy Chang Law Firm, Judy practiced U.S. immigration and nationality law at national and global law firms as part of the international transaction team and built an excellent track record of successfully representing a diverse clientele in challenging matters.

Ms. Chang is also a regular media contributor and a frequent guest speaker on a variety of legal issues dealing with foreign businesses and immigrants. She has also served the legal and immigrant community as a Regional Governor of the International Association of Korean Lawyers, Director of Korean American league for Civic Action, and Director of Korean-American Association of San Francisco and Greater Bay Area.

For her success and leadership in her chosen field, Ms. Chang has also received the 2013 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award by the Asian American Business Development Center.

Her practice goal is to provide outstanding services both to her clients and to the community at large.

TOMMY T. KIM, ESQ., PARTNER

Tommy Kim is a New Jersey licensed attorney focusing his practice in immigration. Mr. Kim chose to practice immigration because he saw the direct impact it brings to people as well as to the greater society.

Mr. Kim is well versed in business and employment-based immigration. In particular, he specializes in O-1, NIW, and EB1 petitions, which require in-depth review combined with a highly methodical approach.

Mr. Kim earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Boston College in 2006 and his J.D. Degree from Michigan State University College of Law in 2010.

MINHEE CHO, ESQ. PARTNER

Minhee Cho is a New Jersey licensed attorney specializing in the field of U.S. Immigration and Nationality law.
Mr. Cho received his BA with Cum Laude in Sociology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and his JD with Cum Laude from the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School.  During law school, Mr. Cho served as a legal student advisor of an Immigration Clinic and advocated for the rights of low-income immigrants and refugees.
Prior to joining Judy Chang Law Firm, Mr. Cho owned and managed Law Office Cho and successfully represented clients’ interest in diverse areas, including real estate, business transactions, corporate and contract matters in addition to family and employment-based immigration cases.  This broad experience helps understand our clients’ immigration needs and plan more tailored legal strategies.
Mr. Cho is an active member of the American Immigration lawyers’ Association (AILA) and fluent in Korean.

RESHMA SHAH PARMAR, ESQ., OF COUNSEL

Ms. Parmar is a senior attorney working for Judy Chang Law Firm as Of Counsel. She has 10 years of experience working exclusively in Business Immigration Law. She is experienced in non-immigrant cases (i.e., H-1B, TN, L-1, O-1, B-1/B-2, etc.) and immigrant/green card cases (PERM, NIW, EB1) and has represented both professional individuals and corporate clients working at small and large law firms.

Through her representation efforts, she has been in contact extensively with USCIS, USDOL, USDOS and various sub immigration offices. Her cases have included individuals and fortune 500 companies as clients in the IT, science/research, medical, dental, pharmaceutical, banking, telecom, biotech, retail, architecture, education, business/marketing, fine arts/graphic design, and other sectors of the U.S. economy.

Ms. Parmar is an active member of the California Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers’ Association.

DANIEL A. EDELSON, ESQ., OF COUNSEL

Daniel Edelson is of counsel to the Judy Chang Law Firm and has over 15 years experience prosecuting and defending civil litigation claims including contract disputes, securities fraud actions, civil RICO cases, and business partner disputes. He is an accomplished advocate, recognized for his strategic thinking and also his prowess in the courtroom. Daniel previously worked with two international law firms in New York City and has also lived in South Korea and Japan. Daniel is also an experienced public speaker and has given presentations in South Korea, Central America, and the United States. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Daniel earned his Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law where he was an editor on the International Law Journal.


Chris Park, Case Manager

Chris Park is a founding member of Judy Chang Law Firm. She previously worked for large security companies for several years and has 20 years experience working for prominent immigration law firms.  Well-versed in all types of immigration matters and the intricate details of the case flow, Ms. Park coordinates legal document production and manages case life cycles for Judy Chang Law Firm. 

Chris Park earned her Bachelor’s degree from Choong-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea and completed Paralegal Studies certificate program at Merritt College in California.  She is fluent in English and Korean.
